The following drugs are reported to have caused over 100 deaths in Pakistan: Cardiovastation, Concont, Isotab, Solprin, Atenolo. The drugs, given out free by the state, were supplied by the government-run Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore

According to the ADA an HbAIC value of 5.7-6.4% is considered Pre-Diabetes, and 6.5% or higher merits a diagnosis of Diabetes. Compared to Fasting Blood Glucose or Oral Glucose Tolerance Testing, HbAIC does not require fasting or multiple blood samples.
